I heard that Shelter are to make a limited edition of the full set of 53 designs for the upcoming house of cards charity event in september -53 because they are using the joker - I was invited back in march or so and chose the king of hearts- Other Hearts are Damien Hirst,& polly Morgan. Its an amazing list of names involved from the Chapman brothers to Hirst to Vivienne westwood to David bailey to Rankin to Eine to Dface to Polly Morgan ,Henry Holland,Alexander mcqueen,to lots of Turner winners/contenders like Rachel whiteread -Also huge names from design/music/ ---Gerald Scarfe,Nick Park,Jamie reid, jarvis thingyer,Marc Quinn, lots of really intertesting names -should be a great night at Haunch Of venison, Burlington gardens -Anyway, i just thought id mention the cards because they are bound to be quite collectable with all 53 designs in a presentation pack.A Nick park card will be quite a funny contrast I imagine compared to a chapman brothers card ?! see www.shelterhouseofcards.org

Hi again,
Dan is not the only one... half the artists on the urban art scene use company trademarks in their work.... Micallef, Nick Walker, D*Face, Kelsey Brookes, even the great Banksy.
I have always wonderd how they get away with it.... if you find out would be interested to know.

Hi Dan,
I recently got planed on an art site for using a superhero in my piece.. they said I had no right to use copyrighted images in my pieces. I notice that you often do just that.. ronald macdonald etc..
Do you know what the rules are on this? (of course rules are made to be broken!)

Hi all,
I'm greatly needing to move closer to London, so to work closer with the Art scene there, and needing to raise a little wanga to back the move. So it is with great regret that im offering to sell a couple of my peices. Dan Baldwins great Country Life to Poltics and Charles Dada 's, the Weeping Venice.
a little details on both
Country Life to Politics
Country Life & Politics is the transitional peice showing the move from Dan Baldwin's 'Country Life' series to the 'Politics' Series.
This magnificent and very important peice is also painted on a canvas like no other, with smooth curved edges allowing the painting to continue round all 4 sides of the painting. This is the only peice of Dans work on a canvas like this. Making it a very beautiful impressive and rare peice.
incase the images don't load, go to the State of Art Gallery link below where it is up for sale at the moment.
